Launch and Monthly Release Campaigns

During my time as Head of Social Media at Amazon Games, I led strategy for New World, Lost Ark, and Throne and Liberty — crafting teasers, engagement events, and UGC amplification that fueled excitement before and after launch. I drove campaign strategy for monthly updates and live-service beats, targeting new, returning, and core players to increase installs, re-engagement, and revenue.

New World: Aeternum

Starting out at Amazon Games I dove straight into the go-to-market (GTM) social strategy for New World, across both its original PC launch and its console release. My goal was to turn the world of Aeternum into a story players could explore before even entering the game — using social media as the stage for that narrative.

I developed and produced multiple short- and long-form video series that combined education, entertainment, and humor to highlight the game’s unique selling points:

  • 🎯 Aeternum’s Most Wanted – A tongue-in-cheek short-form series parodying crime shows to introduce key enemies with personality and humor.

  • 🧭 Discovering Aeternum – A long-form storytelling series structured around Arrive, Survive, Thrive, using in-game characters to explain gameplay systems and worldbuilding.

  • ⚒️ Aeternum Survival Guide – Bite-sized educational content that revealed hidden features and player tips through in-universe storytelling.

  • 📼 Nostalgia-Driven Pop Culture Content – Created posts inspired by ’80s and ’90s entertainment, tapping into generational humor and connecting emotionally with core audiences.

Through these campaigns, New World’s social presence evolved from simple updates to immersive storytelling, helping drive player installs, re-engagement, and long-term retention across platforms.

Lost Ark

For Lost Ark, I shaped a social media presence that balanced trend-driven creativity with deep game expertise, connecting authentically with one of the most hardcore gaming communities. The player base — passionate raiders, anime fans, and meme-savvy gamers — demanded content that matched their enthusiasm.

My approach combined pop culture relevance with educational depth to serve both new and veteran players. Core initiatives included:

  • 🎬 Quality of Life Video Spotlights – Educational content highlighting updates and improvements that enhanced progression and raiding experiences.

  • 🚀 Hype Teasers for Major Releases – Social-first videos building anticipation around new classes, raids, and expansions.

By fusing pop culture trends, player humor, and authentic product knowledge, I transformed Lost Ark’s social ecosystem into a thriving community hub — a place where entertainment, education, and culture collided to sustain excitement and player loyalty.

Throne and Liberty

While on Throne and Liberty, my main focus was on guild camaraderie, creator collaboration, and large-scale pvp experiences like Castle Sieges. I built a content strategy that spotlighted teamwork, strategy, and progression — showing how social play was the heart of the game.

The campaign turned complex systems into accessible narratives through collaborative and educational storytelling:

  • ⚔️ Guild & Siege Highlights – High-energy content showcasing Castle Sieges, guild teamwork, and large-scale PVP battles that defined the experience.

  • 🎓 Progression Explainers – Short-form videos and carousels that broke down the game’s leveling and class systems in digestible, visually engaging ways.

  • 🤝 Creator Collaborations – Partnered with streamers and influencers to co-create educational and hype content, using their voices to reinforce authenticity.

  • 📘 Launch-Phase Education Campaigns – Pre-launch social content educating players on guild systems, world-building, and strategies to prepare for Siege day.

By focusing on community, collaboration, and clarity, I positioned Throne and Liberty as an MMO built around shared experiences — uniting creators, players, and guilds under one cohesive narrative that carried momentum from pre-launch into live service.

Creator Campaign Promotions

With over 15 years of experience leading social activations in gaming, I’ve helped design and execute promotions for large-scale influencer and creator campaigns. From coordinating with top-tier talent to building platform strategies that amplify their stories, my work focuses on turning creator moments to optimal points of engagement.

Across multiple Amazon Games titles, I’ve developed cross-channel social strategies supporting global events, live service updates, and launch campaigns — uniting content creators, players, and brands under one cohesive narrative.

Two standout examples include:

  • Battle for New World – A 10-day pre-launch Twitch event featuring 60+ creators and 11M+ hours watched, making New World the #1 game on Twitch.

  • Siege the Day – A two-day livestream activation for Throne and Liberty that showcased PVP gameplay, creator guilds, and Twitch Drops ahead of launch.

These campaigns represent the fusion of strategy, storytelling, and social amplification — transforming influencer content into meaningful, measurable impact.

Battle for New World

Siege the Day

Battle for New World” was a large-scale pre-launch activation designed to ignite community excitement ahead of New World’s release. The event brought together 60+ top creators, including shroud, Ninja, and Pokimane, each representing one of the game’s three factions — Covenant, Marauders, and Syndicate — in a competitive, multi-day livestream experience.

Social media served as the storytelling engine behind Battle for New World — driving awareness, rallying factions, and fueling excitement through real-time updates, creator spotlights, and highlight recaps. Platform strategies focused on turning the competition into a community moment, uniting fans around their chosen factions.

Key Social Contributions:

  • Developed platform-specific content series amplifying creator battles and daily standings

  • Partnered with influencer and community teams to coordinate cross-channel messaging

  • Delivered real-time engagement coverage across Twitch, Twitter, and Instagram

“Siege the Day” was a two-day livestream event ahead of the Western launch of Throne and Liberty. It featured high-profile content creators from North America and Europe competing in-game via multiple game modes. The event served multiple purposes: hype-building for launch, showcase of major PVP features (especially Castle Siege) and creator network activation.

For Siege the Day, social media centered around creator-driven storytelling and viewer engagement. The campaign teased guild reveals, showcased PVP highlights, and directed audiences to Twitch for exclusive drops. Content bridged the live event with launch anticipation — keeping the community engaged before, during, and after broadcast.
